Beginner Photography Workshop (DSLR)

MINIMUM AGE OF PARTICIPANT: 16 years old and above.

A thrilling chance to learn the basics of DSLR photography on your own camera from professional film makers using our birds of prey as subjects. In a small group of no more than 6 people, learn about shutter speeds and aperture, depth of field, raw imaging and how lenses and accessories affect the amateur photographer.

Enjoy a laid-back and friendly atmosphere, meet like-minded people and of course, several varieties of stunning bird of prey. You will be taught how to photograph both static and flying birds of prey so that you can truly master both skills. Forget automatic mode, this is a chance to really learn more about both cameras and birds of prey in a beautiful, natural environment.

Just got back from the photography day and what a wonderful day it was. My partner learnt a huge amount about his camera and how to use it and was able to get some great shots of the beautiful birds in flight and stationery. He was also given excellent tips about how to edit, frame and construct his shots. I was a non-participating observer and accompanied them through the day, which meant I could appreciate the amazing birds as well. Both of us really enjoyed the day – it exceeded both of our expectations. Thank you Elliot, Emily, Luke and Coda falconry!
