Half Day Falconry Experience

Our Half Day Falconry experience allows you to explore the sport of falconry in depth by flying a variety of our birds, including falcons, buzzards, hawks and owls to the gloved hand. You may also see us flying one of our falcons to the lure and have the opportunity to handle and feed our falcons on your glove.

All of this is topped off by going out on a “woodland walk” where we take one of our beautiful owls, hawks or falcons out into the fields and surrounding woods within the grounds of Hobbledown Heath. Here, you will have the rare opportunity to watch our stunning birds in action out in a natural environment (maybe catching quarry if there’s any about) and to call them from the trees to your glove.

Guests will also have a short break in this experience before the woodland walk so they can use the facilities and grab some refreshments before their walk on the wild side!

Please note, the Half Day Falconry experience is not suitable for disabled guests due to the hawk walk, which is on uneven, natural land. However, please do contact one of our team if you have a query with regards to suitability, as we can modify experiences to suit most needs.
