Sarah-Jane Manarin
Sarah-Jane Manarin
Owner and Founder of Coda Falconry

Sarah-Jane started on her journey with falconry over 11 years ago. She’s always had a passion for flying birds of prey and being involved in wildlife conservation and is extremely proud to have finally achieved her dream of opening up a falconry centre that has bird of prey welfare and education at the heart of all the falconry experiences. As part of her falconry career, Sarah-Jane has been involved with Women in Business projects across the UK and has given talks for anti-bullying campaigns. Due to a high demand in offsite contracts off the back of Coda Falconry’s incredible reputation, Sarah-Jane has now refined her role within the centre and deals with all the major display, film / television work and co-ordinating offsite events around the country.

Elliot Manarin
Elliot Manarin
Falconer

Since volunteering at Galloway Falconry over 6 years ago,  Elliot was hooked on all things birds of prey. His well rounded falconry training and the fact that he has worked with a variety of different raptors made him the perfect team member for Coda Falconry. He also has a bromance with one of the flying team. When he first met Logan the Eurasian eagle owl as young owlet of 6 weeks old, it was pretty much love at first sight (on both sides) so now whenever you see Elliot around the centre, Logan is usually not far behind! Elliot will taking on the role of public demonstrations and offsite displays throughout 2017.

Luke Callinan
Luke Callinan
Falconer

Luke came for one of our experience days a couple of years ago and pretty much… never left! Luke is now an extremely capable bird of prey trainer in his own right and has taken on the role of a falconer within Coda Falconry. Luke has a lot of knowledge regarding reptiles / creepy crawlies and we’re looking forward to blending these 2 passions into some fantastic new experience days very soon.

Emily Corless
Emily Corless
Falconer

Emily has worked at Coda Falconry from the very beginning and has been an integral part of the team since it all started back in 2012. Her hard work and natural ability with the birds paid off and she passed her LANTRA qualification in the summer of 2014. Emily runs the experience days at Coda Falconry and has been key to the growth and outstanding reputation of our centre. Always with a smile on her face and brimming with knowledge, you’ll see Emily at our outside demos as well as holding the fort at Coda HQ throughout the open season at Lee Valley Park Farm.  She accepted the post of falconer at Coda Falconry and we couldn’t be happier to have her as a member of our team.

Henry Breen
Henry Breen
Volunteer

Henry started volunteering at Coda Falconry this summer (2016) and has been an absolute breath of fresh air – his humour and natural affinity with the birds of prey makes for an awesome environment around the centre. Henry has been learning how to fly falcons to the lure and is really excelling at his falconry training so we’re looking forward to seeing him progress into a career with raptors.

Paul Ryder
Paul Ryder
Falconer

Paul is our most recent addition to the Coda Falconry team – Paul has worked at a variety of different animal sanctuaries and therefore has good all round knowledge on animal welfare and husbandry. Paul has a real passion for raptors and this shows in his hard work to keep them in the best condition possible so we’re very pleased he has taken on the role of a falconer within Coda Falconry. Paul’s laid back personality and knowledge of reptiles / creepy crawlies makes him a fantastic addition to the team and we’re looking forward to blending these 2 passions into some fantastic new experience days very soon.
